BIRKAN GmbH is one of the oldest graphical stockists in Germany. It was founded in 1924 as a distributor of printing blankets, under the name Birkner & Kandlbinder OHG, with its own patent for Triumph rubber printing blankets ‒ revolutionary technology at the time. BIRKAN continues to enjoy success with its offset printing blankets, produced in-house and exported to over 100 countries worldwide. BIRKAN carries a comprehensive range of printing blankets to meet different quality requirements, suitable not only for common offset applications but also for specialised requirements in plastics, metal and intaglio printing. Our range also includes underpacking materials (sheets, foils, press boards and blankets) and measuring equipment. Our extensive inventory allows us to deliver promptly around the world. As a special service, BIRKAN also provides the option of a commissioning warehouse. A new branch of the company ‒ direct laser engraving ‒ is devoted to manufacturing elastomer printing plates.

The product range of NEPTUN Technologies GmbH includes labels which dissolve completely in water, water-soluble paper and silicone paper. The labels are available in rolls or sheets, printed or unprinted and in various different dimensions. The second mainstay is water-soluble paper. This is used in all cases where paper does not need to be permanent but is to be removed in a matter of seconds using normal tap water. Different grammages are available in sheets and rolls. The third business area is formed by silicone-coated paper, which NEPTUN cuts to size and rolls up.
