Dabei verfügt das Temperiersystem über bis zu 128 individuell regelbare Kreise und eignet sich für die Verarbeitung von Polyolefinen und vieler technischen Thermoplaste. In der Basisausführung itd B wird wie beim klassischen Wasserverteiler die gewünschte Durchflussmenge zunächst manuell eingestellt, dann aber prozessfähig über einen Durchflusssensor überwacht und am zentralen Bildschirm der Regeleinheit digital und grafisch dargestellt. In der Regelausführung itd R wird die Wassermenge individuell für jeden Kreis an der zentralen Bedieneinheit vorgegeben und über ein Wassermengen-Regulierventil bei Veränderungen automatisch innerhalb einstellbarer Grenzwerte nachgeregelt.
