Die Öle eignen sich daher für Schmierstellen mit größeren Gleitanteilen (z.B. Schneckengetriebe, Schrittgetriebe) und Anwendungen mit besonderen Anforderungen an eine konstante Ölviskosität bei wechselnden Temperaturen sowie eine erhöhte Öllebensdauer. Die EP-Additivierung der LFC 8000er Öle sichert eine hohe Fresstragfähigkeit und einen sehr guten Verschleißschutz für Zahnräder und Lager (siehe auch Tabelle FZG-Test).
