Dieser amorphe Thermoplast weist eine hervorragende Beständigkeit gegen eine Vielfalt von Chemikalien auf und steht aus eine hervorragende Festigkeit und Steifigkeit unter einem weiten Temperaturbereich, wobei die Leistung über längere Zeiträume bis zu 180 °C erhalten bleibt. Das Material ist FDA-, USP VI- und ISO-10993-konform. Aufgrund seines Compliance-Profils und seiner Rückverfolgbarkeit von Chargen ist es ideal für den Einsatz in Medizintechnik und chirurgiche-Anwendungen geeignet (für gewisse Instrumente, Probeteile, ). Sterilisationsverfahren umfassen EtO-Gas, Strahlung, Dampfautoklavieren, trockene Hitze und kalte Sterilisation. Das Material kann auf Anfrage in Stäbe (ab Ø25,4mm bis Ø88,9mm) oder in Platten extrudiert werden (in Natur bernstein lichtdurchlässsige Farbe oder in opaken Farben wie blau, grau, grün, gelb, braun, schwarz, weiss...)
