The Otto Junker high-grade steel foundry in Lammersdorf, Simerath (20 km south of Aachen), specialises in special alloys. Our range of materials offers customers a wide selection of high-alloy iron-, nickel- and cobalt-based varieties. These materials are melted in highly efficient induction ovens, using vacuum technology where required. Our range of products includes corrosion-resistant alloys, heat-resistant alloys, non-magnetisable alloys, hard-wearing alloys and multiple special nickel- and cobalt-based alloys. We also make cast ferrous materials designed to handle exceptionally high levels of stress corrosion from JUNKERALLOY® nickel-based alloys. We have been producing and supplying many of these materials for decades. We produce more materials than are shown on our website – about 100 varieties in total.

Customers for these special machines mostly come from the civil engineering and specialist civil engineering sectors, although these also include suppliers and network operators. Steel in particular is subject to the strict quality controls which are easily visible throughout the entire production process. The most modern manufacturing technology, highly precise CNC-controlled machining centres turn, drill, mill and grind the workpieces into shape.
