Ulker, whose history dates back to 1944, is the number one biscuit and confectionery brand in Turkey and the Middle East. The company was founded by Sabri and Asim Ulker, two brothers whose parents emigrated to Turkey from Crimea. They started in a small bakery where they made the first Potibor biscuits (petit beurre) and from there developed into a leading confectionery brand.
