Durch die grenzflächenaktiven Entschäumerteilchen wird die Schaumblase destabilisiert und zum Platzen gebracht. Durch die Zugabe eines Entlüfters werden Gasteilchen zu großen Blasen zusammengeführt, die an die Oberfläche steigen und dort entweichen. Auf Grund der vorgenannten Eigenschaften sollte der direkte Einsatz in biologischen oxischen Abwasserreinigungsbecken erst nach eingehender Prüfung erfolgen. Die Entschäumer/ Entlüfter werden nach der Zusammensetzung in Öl- und Dispersionsentschäumer unterschieden.

The chemical primer changes the surface structure of the polyester film and this enables greater adhesion to the surface. The strength of the adhesion can optionally be changed. Polibond has excellent anchorage values ​​for impregnating agents.
