NEDEX secondary sealant MELTEX hotmelt butyl (hot melt sealant) is a 100% solids, single-component sealant designed for the sealed insulating glass industry. It is formulated from butyl rubber, synthetic polymers and elastomers to give outstanding adhesion to glass and aluminum when fabricated manually or reactivated in semi- automatic equipment. The product is resistant to degradation from ultraviolet light, temperature extremes and water immersion. MELTEX hotmelt butyl is is compatible with inner sealants of NEDEX such as KU-83B and PIB-996. They can be used together, there will be no chemical reactions. Before using MELTEX together with other inner sealants chemical compatibility tests should be done. MELTEX is a secondary sealant for Insulating Glass Unit with specifications according to EN 1279.

Les espaceurs à bord chaud NEDEX (NANOBAR) ont les valeurs Σλd- et Ψ les plus basses. NANOBAR a un nombre maximum de trous de perforation pour une meilleure performance du verre isolant. Les espaceurs Nedex à bord chaud peuvent être produits dans des largeurs comprises entre 8 et 24 mm. La couleur de la pièce en plastique peut être blanche, grise RAL7035, grise RAL7040, grise RAL9023 et noire. Leur stabilité et les spécifications des matériaux permettent de les traiter sur des lignes de cintrage. Ils peuvent même être installés dans des unités IG soumises à des charges externes extrêmes. Les revêtements métalliques et non métalliques au dos des espaceurs à bord chaud garantissent une étanchéité parfaite contre la perméation de la vapeur d'eau et de l'argon. Les surfaces en contact avec les produits d'étanchéité ont une très bonne adhérence aux produits d'étanchéité.

Abstandhalter aus Aluminium sind die ersten Arten von Abstandhaltern, die von der NEDEX hergestellt wurden. Um den Anforderungen verschiedener Märkte gerecht zu werden, werden Aluminium-Abstandhalter in vielen Abmessungen für Isolierglas hergestellt. Aluminium-Abstandshalter sind für Schneid-Steck-Anwendungen, mit Kunststoff-Eckverbindern und für maschinelles Biegen mit metallischen geraden Verbindern hergestellt. Die Dicke der Aluminiummaterialien variiert von 0,18 mm für geringere Wärmeleitfähigkeit und Kosteneffizienz bis 0,35 mm für Biegsamkeit und Festigkeit. Es gibt verschiedene Größen von Aluminium-Abstandshaltern mit einer Nennbreite von 6 mm und 24 mm. Die Standardlängen der Alu-Abstandshalter sind 3 m, 5 m und 6 m. Andere Längen sind auf Anfrage optional. PIB-996 - Butil

NEDEX produces solvent-free primary sealant PIB-996 based on polyisobutylene for the insulating glass industry. The formulation has been specially developed to achieve very low gas and water vapor penetration rates. The product is compatible with Nedex secondary sealants. The solvents most commonly used in the formulations of secondary sealant formulations based on polyurethane and polysulfide show no signs of migrations with Nedex primary sealants. However, intensive compatibility tests according to EN1279-4:2018 should be carried out before use if PIB-996 is not used together with Nedex secondary sealants PS-018 and KU-83. PIB-996 has a very good adhesive properties on glass and metal. The effect of heat leads to a significant softening of primart sealants. Neverthless, PIB-996 shows good stability even at temperatures around 100°C and does not flow out of their position into the space between the panes. PIB-996 has also been certified according to EN1279-4:2018.

Nedex warm edge spacers can be produced in widths between 8-24 mm.
