The Ekinex® EK-IA1-TP CODESYS® PLC is an advanced, freely programmable logic module equipped with a KNX interface allowing the simultaneous execution of several complex logic blocks. The devices is equipped with an integrated bus communication module and is designed for rail mounting inside electrical cabinets.

Ekinex® proposes a KNX binary input and a 6 channel pushbutton interface. The binary input is an S-mode modular KNX device for panel mounting, used for the connection to the bus of traditional (i.e. not natively communicating on KNX bus) commands and sensors equipped with dry contacts. The pushbutton interface, besides being used as input, can also be used as an output line, with the specific purpose of controlling high efficiency indication LEDs.

The Ekinex® actuator / dimmer is an S-mode modular KNX device for panel mounting, able to command and regulate the brightness of lighting devices. In order to function properly, the device has to receive a telegram from the bus, sent by a KNX sensor (for example a pushbutton, a sensor or another command/control device) or another KNX command device, which opens or closes the corresponding relay or regulates the brightness of the connected lighting device.

The Ekinex® actuator / binary output for actuator control is an S-mode KNX modular device for panel mounting, which is able to convert electric signals in actions and therefore control motorized actuators. In order to function properly, the device has to receive a telegram from the bus, sent by a KNX sensor (for example a pushbutton, a sensor or another command/control device) or another KNX command device, which opens or closes one or more relays (such as blind control, etc.).

The Ekinex® products for temperature control are grouped in fancoil, electrothermal actuator and mixing group controllers. Fancoil controllers are KNX devices that operate as actuators or both actuators and room temperature controllers for air terminals such as fans, convectors and fancoils. The Ekinex® S-mode KNX devices for electrothermal actuator and/or servomotor control for zone valves are installed on the supply manifolds of the radiant plants or radiators. The mixing group controller regulates the supply temperature of the heating fluid using a selectable regulation mode, separately for heating and cooling.

The Ekinex® gateways are modular KNX devices for panel mounting. The Gateway range includes: Modbus, which are devices that allow an exchange of information between one or more slave devices communicating on a RS485 differential serial network or by Ethernet through Modbus protocol; BACnet, which allow an exchange of information with a master device communicating on a RS485 differential serial network or by Ethernet through BACnet protocol; DMX, which allow an exchange of information between one or more slave devices communicating on a RS485 differential serial network or by Ethernet through DMX protocol; M-bus, which allow an exchange of information between one or more slave devices communicating through M-bus protocol; Profinet, which allow an exchange of information with a master device communicating by Ethernet through Profinet protocol; DALI, which allow an exchange of information between one or more slave devices communicating through DALI protocol.
