Axon' offers an extended range of equipment wires and cables for any applications requiring resistance to high temperatures. Different types of constructions can be proposed and delivered ex stock. They are designed to resist high temperatures ranging from -90°C to +260°C depending on the insulation material ; PTFE, ETFE, FEP or polyimide. They are made with silver plated or nickel plated conductor copper alloy, tin, silver or nickel plated copper. Axon’ offers extruded flat cables with round conductors for any application requiring space reduction and temperature resistance. The round conductors are insulated with FEP or ETFE. These ribbon cables are characterized with their temperature resistance : -90°C to + 155°C for ETFE, -90°C to +155°C for ETFE insulated flat cables. Axon' offers 2 ranges of wires and cables for space applications : ESA wires and aluminium wires. They have been specially designed for on-board equipment in space applications including satellite and launcher cabling. They meet the most stringent constraints required by those applications. Axon' has developed a range of aluminium wires, axalu®, which can replace traditional copper allowing substantial weight savings. Axon' ESA wires are approved to ESCC3901 and ESCC3902 standards.

Axon' has developed picocoax® a complete range of miniature coaxial cables and harnesses for applications where a large number of signals have to be transmitted with no interference. They can be used for measurement equipment and medical devices. Picocoax miniature coaxial cables offer a good compromise between small diameter (for example 0.20 mm) and capacitance of 50 to 100 pF/m. Picocoax® miniature coaxial cables are made with silver plated copper alloy conductor and high performance dielectric materials including FEP or Celloflon (porous PTFE patented by Axon'). Axon' also offers multipicocoax made with bundles of 18 to 304 picocoax cables. These composite cables are very flexible.
